"Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"

When it comes to organizing and improving your carbon footprint there are some easy changes to help you make the switch! To start, I would recommend minimizing your single use products and look for alternatives.

Bad vs. Good

  • Makeups Wipes / Cotton Wash Clothes

  • Disposable Razors / Stainless Razor

  • Plastic Bags / Reusable Shopping Bag

  • Plastic Toothbrushes / Bamboo Toothbrush

  • Plastic Straws / Glass/ Stainless Straws

  • Paper Plates, Bowls, Cups, Utensils

Wash your dishes!

Then, choose to organize and store items using bamboo, glass, stainless steel, hemp, or recycled plastic (if you choose plastic). Plastic can contain BPA (bisphenol) which is an industrial chemical and is also more difficult to degrade unlike natural products would. Bamboo is affordable, biodegradable, and oftentimes very easy to find as a substitute to your plastic items. Glass jars are also just as beautiful and functional as your favorite plastic containers. They come in all sizes and perfect for food to-go too! Yes, I’m looking at you meal preppers. There may be more changes you can do than you realize.
